Our Story

Since our beginnings in 1983 when founder Joerg Groessler began work on the first commercially available package to rival HP's STORE program, the Orbit Software companies have maintained an international leadership role as quality software and service providers for clients on the HP MPE platform, and have grown to become quality providers for open systems software solutions and services.

ORBiT was founded with a simple philosophy: produce and market quality innovative software solutions, support our products to the highest degree possible, and market them internationally. Having served more than 3,500 customers worldwide, ORBiT is multi-national; selling and supporting its products through offices in the USA, UK, and Germany, and through a network of highly specialized and authorized agents. ORBiT does business in the local way while drawing upon its international expertise and resources to provide world-class quality and innovative solutions and services.
